Recording Browser Automations

Leverage TaskLabs to capture and automate your browser activities efficiently. This feature enables you to record repetitive tasks, simplifying your workflow.

STEP 1

Start Recording

You have multiple ways to start recording your browser automations:

  • Press Alt+A and click on "Recording"
  • Start recording from extension popup
  • Press Alt+R to start recording directly
STEP 2

Perform Actions

Enter a name for your recording and specify the URL you want to start from. Click "Start Recording" and perform the tasks you wish to automate, such as navigating to websites, filling forms, or clicking buttons. TaskLabs will record each action, creating a detailed automation sequence.

STEP 3

Save Recording

After completing your actions, click "Stop Recording" and save your automation:

  • Save privately for personal use
  • Share with others in your organization
STEP 4

Monitor Replay

Your recordings will be available in the "Recordings" folder. Here you can run, edit, or delete your recordings as needed. Running a recorded automation will replicate your actions exactly as they were captured.

Scheduling Recordings

Automate your recordings to run at specific times and intervals for continuous workflow automation.

STEP 1

Create Schedule

Navigate to your saved recording and click on the "Schedule" option. Choose from various scheduling options including daily, weekly, monthly, or custom intervals to fit your automation needs.

STEP 2

Setup Time

Configure the specific time, date, and frequency for your automation. Set up timezone preferences, define retry policies, and configure notification settings for successful or failed executions.

STEP 3

Monitor Status

Track the status of your scheduled recordings through the dashboard. View execution history, success rates, and detailed logs. Receive notifications about automation performance and any issues that may arise.
